Synopsis
The Edo period is coming to an end. Gabimaru, also known as Le Vide, the most famous and powerful of the Iwagakure ninja assassins, is rotting in prison, waiting for his death sentence. However, he learns that he will be acquitted and freed if he can retrieve an elixir of immortality from an island. In the hope of finding his beloved, Gabimaru goes to the island alongside his executioner, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri. Upon their arrival, they meet other death row convicts who are also looking for the elixir, as well as a host of unknown creatures…
